Message from the President
As we start a new fiscal year, I want to take a moment to recognize and thank our outgoing president, Tanya Blankenship, for her exceptional leadership over the past year.
Tanya’s dedication to the IFMA Greater Triangle Chapter has been invaluable. Under her guidance, our chapter continued to strengthen connections among facility management professionals, delivered meaningful programming, and supported the growth of our membership. Please join me in thanking Tanya for her service and for the lasting contributions she has made to our chapter.
I am honored and excited to step into the role of Chapter President and look forward to serving our membership and building on the strong foundation that has been established.
We’re kicking off the new year with our July meeting — mark your calendars! Join us on July 8th at 11:30 a.m. at Prestonwood Country Club. This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow members and get involved. We’ll be inducting our new board members and hosting our annual “Meet the Committees” session, where you can learn about the various committees and find the perfect way to contribute to our chapter’s success. Facility Managers attending as guests will be entered into a free drawing for a one-year membership. This offer is valid for new, first-time members only.
I look forward to seeing you there and to working with all of you to make the 2026-2027 year one of continued growth and connection. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or ideas you’d like to discuss.
Warm regards,
Michele Lowery, RPA, Beacon Partners, President, IFMA Greater Triangle Chapter
