Hello IFMA-GTC Family,
As the flowers begin to bloom across the Triangle, I am thrilled to welcome you to a new month of growth, connection, and professional excellence. If March was any indication, 2026 is shaping up to be a fun and educational year for our Chapter.
March Madness and Memorable Moments
We certainly made the most of the last few weeks! It was wonderful so many of you attende our March Madness Networking Event at Rally Point. Between the cornhole tournament and the free-throw contest, the competitive spirt was high – all while supporting a fantastic cause, the Boys and Girls Club. We also had a strong showing at the the Carolinas Happy Hour at NFMT East in Charlotte – shout out to the amazing team at the Charlotte Chapter! Connecting with our peers on that rooftop was a great reminder of how supportive our regional network truly is.
An Action Packed April
This month, we are keeping the momentum going. While some of our members are heading west for IFMA’s Facility Fusion in San Francisco (April 7-9), we’ll have plenty of local opportunities to engage:
April 9 | Tour and Social at Lenovo Center: Join us at 3:30pm for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at one of the Triangle’s premier venues. It’s a perfect chance to see complex facility management in action.
April 29 | 28th Annual Mike Bradley Memorial IFMA Foundation Golf Tournament: Marke your calendars! We’ll be at the Lochmere Golf Club starting at 10:30am. This is our signature event of the spring-come for the golf, stay for the networking, and support the future of the FM profession.
Looking Ahead to May and Beyond
The calendar is already filling up for next month. Don’t miss our Professional Only Event at Lonnie Poole or our upcoming Four Corners Social at Casita Brewing. Whether you are look for high-level educational content or a relaxed environment to “talk shop” with fellow FMs, we have you covered.
