Springing Forward with IFMA-GTC!
Hello Greater Triangle FMs and Partners,
Is it just me, or does the air feel a little different lately? The days are getting longer, and the first signs of spring have started popping up everywhere. I think I even saw a mosquito. In facilities management, spring often means transitioning systems and prepping our sies for the warmer months ahead, but it’s also the perfect time to “spring forward” in our professional connections.
A Look Back: February Highlights
We had a fantastic February! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Commercial Real Estate Panel. Hearing from local experts gave us all some valuable perspective on where the Triangel market is headed and all the opportunities we’ll see as our region continues to grow. We also had a blast at our Four Corners Social at Deep River Brewing – it was great to see so many of you relaxing and talking shop in such a casual setting. These moments of collaboration are truly what makes our Chapter so strong.
What’s Coming Up in March
March Madness Networking (March 19) – Join us at Rally Point for our annual bracket challenge, cornhole tournament, and free throw contest to benefit the Boys and Girls Club. It’s the perfect way to blow off some steam with your fellow FMs!
Carolinas Happy Hour at NFMT East (March 11) – For those of you heading to Charlotte for NFMT, don’t miss the multi-chapter rooftop social at City Lights. It’s a great chance to connect with our peers from across the Carolinas.
And we aren’t slowing down! April is already stacking up to be a highlight of the season:
Annual Golf Tournament (April 29) – Dust off your clubs! We are headed back to Lochmere Golf Club for a day on the links.
Facility Fusion (April 7-9) – For those looking for national insights, IFMA’s Facility Fusion is happening in San Francisco.
