Facility Management is a profession that encompasses multiple disciplines to ensure functionality of the built environment by integrating people, place, process, and technology.

The Greater Triangle Chapter of IFMA’s has evolved over the years since the chapter’s revitalization in the late 1990’s. It has become a consistent and reliable news source designed to educate and communicate with our chapter members and local facilities professionals. The Greater Triangle Chapter strives to educate and engage Facilities Professionals around the triangle by providing relevant educational meetings and peer networking opportunities. improve communication standards as part of our overall Strategic Planning process.

Through the dedication and commitment of volunteers, we strive to help keep our members educated,  and informed in regards to the changing FM profession.  Please join us for one of our meetings or tours to see what we are all about.

Hi IFMA-GTC Family,

As we step into November, I’m feeling incredibly grateful for our IFMA-GTC community. It truly is the spirit of collaboration, learning, and friendship that makes this chapter thrive. With the season of Thanksgiving upon us, I want to take a moment to reflect on everything we’ve accomplished and look ahead to what’s coming next!

A Look Back: Feeling Grateful for October

What a great month of facility management connections and learning! Thank you to everyone who joined us at our meetings and events in October. Whether it was a session on innovative building technology, a professional development opportunity, or just connecting over coffee, your participation is what brings our chapter to life. Seeing so many of you engaged and sharing your knowledge makes me thankful for the talent and commitment in the Greater Triangle area.

Gathering Together: Upcoming November Events

We have a fantastic lineup of opportunities to connect this month, and I encourage you all to mark your calendars. There is so much to be thankful for—like great food, excellent company, and the chance to strengthen our professional network.

  • GTC of IFMA 4 Corners Networking
    • When: Tuesday, November 4, 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm
    • Kick off the month by expanding your network! This is a great chance to make new connections and catch up with old friends as we share our gratitude for our professional community.
  • GTC of IFMA Coffee & Credentials
    • When: Wednesday, November 5, 7:30 am – 9:00 am
    • Grab your morning coffee and chat about your next steps in your FM career journey. Whether you’re thinking about your FMP or CFM, or just looking for advice, let’s share our collective wisdom!
  • 2025 IFMA Chapter Appreciation Event
    • When: Thursday, November 13, 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
    • This is a big one! Join us as we celebrate all the hard work and dedication of our members, sponsors, and leadership team. It’s our chance to say a massive THANK YOU and enjoy some holiday cheer together.

Thank you again for being the best members a chapter could ask for. Your commitment to facility management excellence and our local community is truly inspiring. I look forward to seeing you at a November event!
