It’s easy – memberships are managed at the national IFMA office, not at the local Chapter level, but we are here to assist you every step of the way. No, but every new IFMA member must affiliate with a local Chapter their first year of membership. Dues are based on membership categories, and Chapter dues are additional.
IFMA’s basic membership is $209.00. The Greater Triangle Chapter membership costs $150.00, making the basic membership investment $359.00. For additional fees you can also join different IFMA councils, as well as make donations to the IFMA Foundation. For more on the dues structure, visit here.
No, each membership is based upon an individual, not a company. Others from your company are welcome to attend events; however, they will pay the non-member cost to attend. Multiple people form the same company may absolutely become members.
Chapter dues are given directly to the Chapter and are used to fund the basic administrative and operational costs of running the Chapter itself. Many times, we are able to offer programs at no cost to our members, but special events and certain programs which have additional costs, such as venue rental and catering, require additional investment. It is always our hope to make every program affordable to members to attend.
Yes! We welcome prospective members, and there is no better way for us to show the value of our Chapter than by allowing you to see it in person. If you would like to attend one of our events, please contact us at email@example.com.
