We had 40 members and guests register for our February Tour of the Rho building in Durham. This was maximum capacity for the tour! Rho is a full-service contract research organization (CRO) focused on bringing new products to market through a full range of product development services. Rho’s headquarters are 50 percent larger than the company’s previous location, allowing plenty of space for continued expansion. Rho includes several green and wellness features in the new building to benefit employees such as increased natural light and views, maximized indoor air quality, walking trails, energy efficiency and building life-cycle impact reduction. Additionally, two entrances reduce parking lot congestion as people come and go. Taking a unique green approach, the building recycled the trees that were removed from the site, repurposing them to create countertops in breakroom areas and feature artwork on each level.
We also had 56 members and guests sign up for our February Social & Member Orientation at MEZ-Durham. Members – both new and old – attended to learn how to get more involved in the Greater Triangle Chapter of IFMA. We had several new member sign up for the committees that are making the Chapter successful. We hope that our twice per year member orientations will be used an an opportunity to engage, join a committee, and develop meaningful personal and professional relationships with others in IFMA!
Special thanks to the Social Sponsors – CertaPro Painters of Cary-Apex , CornerClean, LLC, and Restoration 1 of Durham!
