I was honored to have the privilege of being the emcee for our annual IFMA Greater Triangle Chapter Appreciation Event. Not only did we take this opportunity to recognize chapter members, the veterans in attendance, and sponsors who give so much to our chapter. We were also able to give back to our community through Marine Toys for Tots Foundation donations and a scholarship to Susan Thompson, studying at Wake Technical Community College. If you missed the opportunity to bring a toy, the chapter is still accepting donations.

It’s hard to believe that Buck FisherDenise Johnston, and Carol (Breen) Woodyard, P.E. have had 25 years of continuous service to our chapter. Thank you for the many roles you have had along your journey with us and that you will continue to play for many years to come.

Congratulations to the following individuals and companies. You are an asset to the chapter and the organizations for whom you work. Your support during these past two years has been instrumental in moving forward the mission and vision of the chapter.

A huge shout out to the staff of the Angus Barn. Once again, the food and service were outstanding. We appreciate the attention to detail that you always provide.

On behalf of the 2021-2022 Board, thank you to our members for their attendance. Thank you to the significant others I met for allowing your partner to volunteer their time and energy to our chapter.
