As we transition from summer to fall, it’s hard to believe another month has passed so quickly. On a brighter note, football season is officially here! We’re looking forward to College Football Saturdays and relaxing NFL Sunday afternoons.
A big thank you to everyone who attended our August breakfast meeting. Ben Blankenship provided invaluable insights into the rapidly evolving world of AI and its potential impact on our daily lives. His presentation was both fascinating and eye-opening, revealing how AI can simplify our routines while also highlighting essential strategies for protecting personal and company data.
As most of you know by now, our chapter suffered a great loss in August with the passing of Tim Carr. Tim’s contributions to our chapter, his local community, and the facility management industry were truly remarkable. Attending his memorial service was a powerful reminder of the positive mark he made on everyone he knew.
To celebrate Tim’s life and honor his legacy, please join us on September 18th at The Can Opener Food Truck Park in Durham. This will be a great opportunity to celebrate Tim’s life and remember the impact he had on us all.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
