January 2024 President’s Message
HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope all of you enjoyed a happy, safe, and healthy holiday season with family and friends.
As we dive into 2024, I am excited about the great things we have planned for the chapter. Just before the end of the year we held our first joint committee meeting, and I feel that was a huge success with both break- out sessions and open discussion. We will look to repeat this meeting quarterly to promote cross committee teamwork through 2024.
Our Board met just before the holidays to look into next year, and we have some great things in store. The Board is going to look closely on how to better engage committees and membership as a whole to collaboratively facilitate our “Growing Forward.”
This year starts with our January luncheon at Prestonwood on Wednesday the 10th where we will all be inspired by the message from Joel Graybeal. Then, in February, we are chock full of great events from our committee thank you celebration on 2/8 and then our virtual wine tasting on 2/12. I hope you will all join me at these upcoming events as we welcome in the new year together.
