October 2023 President’s Message
WOW! September flew by this year! If you blinked, you might have missed it. Hopefully you did not miss out on our great events this month. The highlight of this month has been our first ever Boys and Girls Club Work Week event. The chapter truly came together to make this event a success, and I foresee this event continuing to grow through community outreach for years to come.
I also wanted to give a special kudos to those who attended the Corenet Joint Networking Event. We have received nothing but positive feedback as a result of the networking opportunities. We are continuing to “Grow Forward” as we gained 19 new members this quarter, and I fully believe it is because of the collaboration through these events.
Looking ahead, our annual Bingo for Bones event will be held on October 12th, Coffee and Credentials collaborates on October 18th, and we will conclude the month with a facility tour at Beam Therapeutics and “Meet the Committees Social” on October 24th.
We also had 28 members attending World Workplace in Denver last week, and I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with everyone.
