June 2025 President’s Message

Thank you to everyone who joined us for events in May. We started the month with our Professionals-Only Event at Lonnie Poole, where we explored the future of Smart Buildings and had a great opportunity to connect with fellow members. Later, the board gathered in Blowing Rock for our annual planning retreat—an energizing time to exchange ideas and chart a clear strategy for moving the chapter forward.

As I near the end of my term as Chapter President, I want to sincerely thank each of you for the trust and support you’ve extended to me. It’s been an honor to serve this chapter and to be part of something that truly makes a difference in our profession and our community.  I’m excited to hand the reins over to Tanya Blankenship, a highly capable leader who brings vision, experience, and a genuine passion for our chapter. I have no doubt she’ll continue building on our momentum and ensuring that the Greater Triangle Chapter remains an incredible resource and network for all members.

I’m excited to step into my new role as Immediate Past President just in time for summer! I look forward to staying actively involved as we continue to grow, evolve, and support one another. Thank you again for the opportunity to serve.
