May 2025 President’s Message
Thank you to everyone who came out and made our annual golf tournament such a huge success! We had a fantastic turnout, and it was wonderful to see so many familiar faces enjoying a day of networking and fun on the course. A special thanks goes out to our Golf Committee for their work behind the scenes—once again, you delivered an outstanding event, and we couldn’t be any more grateful.
Looking ahead, May is shaping up to be a busy and exciting month. On May 7th, we’ll be hosting a Joint Committee Meeting at Raleigh Brewing. This is a great opportunity for anyone who’s been thinking about getting involved with our chapter but isn’t sure where to start. Come out, meet the teams, and let us help you find the committee that fits you best. On May 14th, we have a Professional-Only event at Lonnie Poole featuring David Stephenson, who will be speaking on the topic of smart buildings—a must-attend for anyone interested in the future of our industry.
Finally, on May 16th–17th, your Board will be heading to Blowing Rock, NC for our annual board retreat. This is an important time for us to reflect on our progress, analyze the feedback from our annual survey, finalize our budget, and plan strategically for the upcoming year. If you have thoughts or suggestions you’d like us to consider, please reach out to a Board member before the retreat—we want your voice to be part of the conversation. Thank you all for your continued support, engagement, and commitment to making our Chapter strong!
