March 2022 President’s Message
March seems to be associated with bad things. There’s the Ides of March, March Madness, Leprechaun pranks, the start of Daylight Savings Time (yes, you lose an hour in your day), and two years ago, COVID. But for all the mischievous things that March brings, it’s also a time for new beginnings. We’re beginning to think through the transition to the 2022-2023 fiscal year for the chapter. We’re raising funds to help the Boys and Girls Club through our March Madness Event. Lastly, by registering for the annual golf event, we can provide scholarships to students who are studying Facilities Management.
It’s hard to believe that the leadership team will be having a retreat to begin planning for the 2022-2023 fiscal year in two months. Input from you is needed to ensure we continue moving the chapter in the right direction. In the coming weeks, you will receive a survey from the chapter. The feedback you provide on that survey and feedback we’ve received throughout the year are vital to developing our strategy for the 2022-2023 year. In years past, our survey response rate has been about 20%. This year, I’d like to challenge each of you to complete the survey.
I look forward to seeing you at our luncheon and the March Madness event on St. Patrick’s Day this year.
