Greetings Chapter Members,
This month we kick off the annual Chapter survey – our way of listening to your voices and your chance to tell us what is important to you. Please be on the lookout for the survey, and take a few minutes to complete it.
We are also developing a Geographic Information System (GIS) map of the Chapter’s membership to better understand our Chapter membership distribution, to provide events and meeting locations in alignment with the Chapter’s demographics.
During the April monthly meeting Rob Griffin, Chapter Treasurer, and I will be providing a 10 minute update on the Chapter. We will use this time to talk through everything we have been focused on this year, and where we are going in the future.
The Board has unanimously approved moving forward with a new Event Management and Email marketing system that will simplify our operations, and improve the membership experience when using the new system.
We have defined scope of services for a Chapter Administrator and will begin the RFP process shortly. Bringing on a Chapter Administrator will improve the Chapter’s day-to-day operations, and enhance the level of service we provide to members.
The Board also approved funding$500 scholarships for Professional Members wanting to take the CFM/SFP/FMP exams. This is another step in our continuing efforts to support Chapter FM’s and their education.
As you can see, a lot of great work going on that is taking our Chapter to the next best place.
